With the acquisition of Tasmanian Alkaloids and addition of the Athens, Georgia site in 1982, and continuous expansions over the past three decades at both US facilities, Noramco now contributes to billion dollar affiliate franchises, as well as to significant 3rd party generic and branded pharmaceutical products worldwide.

Noramco and its sister company, Tasmanian Alkaloids, are the world's largest producers of thebaine and oripavine, using patented poppies with well characterized purity profiles. This integration allows for a secure supply of oxycodone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone, oxymorphone, buprenorphine and the Nal compounds.
